Inga studierte Nachhaltige Technologien an der Technischen Universität von Katalonien (UPC) in Barcelona. In ihrer Masterarbeit arbeitete sie an institutionelle Barrieren zur Klimawandelanpassung im Küstenmanagement. Im Jahr 2019 begann sie ihre Promotion in der Gruppe "Ereignisbasierte Modellierung der ökoonomischer Folgen des Klimawandels" am PIK. In ihrem Promotionsprojekt beschäftigt sie sich mit der sozioökonomischen Dimension von Überfluntungen und analysiert direkte Schäden und Verteilungseffekte von Katastrophen und deren Zuordnung zum Klimawandel. Ihre Arbeit ist eingebettet in das SLICE-Projekt (Short- and Long-Term Impacts of Climate Extremes).
