I am a Scientific Coordinator in PIK’s directors team.

My responsibilities include:

Personel management:

  • Hiring, extensions, transfers, rebookings of 59 Executive Team employees (Johan's team, Ottmar's team, WiMa, Press, PU)
  • Hiring, extensions, transfers, rebookings of 29 Earth Resilience Science Unit (ERSU) employees incl. 25 guest contracts
  • Feedback meetings for staff

Project Management:

  • Coordinate, budgeting, reporting, project extensions and questions relating to the 15 Executive Team projects including the Policy Unit (donations, Planet Prize Jury, Tyler Prize etc)
  • Coordinate, budgeting, reporting, project extensions and questions relating to the 8 ERSU projects (EU, DFG BMBF projects, PB-Tip)
  • Supporting with new proposals (projects and travel funding) e.g., DFG, ERC Synergy, BMFTR

UNFCCC Coordination (COP etc):

  • Badge nominations
  • Side event nominations
  • Paper submission

Meeting organisation and moderation:

  • For ERSU theme leads and leads, Johan Rockström's team, REPP, PB-Tip, Executive Team leaders and Executive Team
  • Communication with Science Management, Ottmar Edenhofer's team, Policy Unit, Press/Communications team

Stakeholder engagement:
