Appointment Planner

Create and share meeting polls with the DFN Terminplaner. Secure and confidential. Available with Federated Log In via PIK account credentials [log-in required].

Collaborative Document Editing

Nextcloud together with Only Office and Overleaf Commons are the primary tools for collaborative on-line document editing provided by the institute.

Email and Calendars

The Thunderbird Email Program. Webmail. Email Accounts & Addresses. Sending and Receiving Email. Spam Processing. Working with Calendars. Advanced Email Features. [log-in required]

Google Workspace

The institute has been granted a Google for Nonprofits (G4NP) license. Licensed Google Workspace services are available for all employees via Single-Sign-On (SSO) [log-in required].

HIFIS

Helmholtz Digital Services for Science. SSO access for employees and guests of the institute free of charge [Log-in required].

Internet Chat

The institute provides the free (unsupported) version of Mattermost as team communication (chat, kanban boards) service. This is similar in functionality to the commercial Slack service

Software Project Management

Software Project Management with Gitlab.

Private Sync & Share Services

Sharing files and calendars over the Internet using the Private Cloud Service of the Institute, based on the Nexcloud platform. Exchange information and work concurrently on shared documents using Only Office editors. Synchronize data between several computers and mobile devices across different operating systems.
