BETTER

This project assesses how and to what extent cooperation with third countries (esp. North African countries) can help Europe achieve its short- (2020) and long-term (2050) decarbonisation and renewables targets, with the particular objective of going beyond the standard economic assessment, looking at acceptance issues, winners/losers, stakeholder perceptions and potential conflicts that may arise in this particular decarbonisation pathway.
