During his residency, Srdjan Jovanović Weiss will pursue the project "Better than Weather: Curious Desire for Human Comfort"that explores the human need for artificial comfort beyond natural weather and climate, with the goal of presenting this need critically and spatially. Believing that creative minds are needed to bring scientific results and the debate on global environmental change into the center of public attention, PIK´s Artist in Residence program was launched in 2011. The program is a cooperative project of the Berlin Artists-in-Residence program of the DAAD and the city of Potsdam and is funded by the German Federal Foreign Office and the city of Potsdam.
