On the weekend the EAT Food Forum took place in Stockholm, the launch event of the new EAT Lancet report. The report itself was covered by international media and is likely to have an impact on global food systems transformations. Jannes is a co-author of the report together with further colleagues from PIK, such as Anna Norberg and Sofie te Wierik, who contributed with LPJmL Simulations and novel insights on sustainable agriculture within planetary boundaries.
Jannes and Marlene used the opportunity to meet leaders from science, politics and business to introduce the new InSEEDS model that will provide new insights on these topics in the near future. InSEEDS explores how we can transform global food systems to be regenerative, resilient, and equitable — restoring soils, biodiversity, and balance with our planet. 🌍
