Sola Zheng is a Senior Aviation Researcher at the International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT). Her work focuses on the environmental impacts of air travel and related policymaking processes. Specifically, Sola has published reports on aircraft fuel efficiency, flight emissions inventory, aviation carbon pricing, frequent flyer levies, and decarbonization roadmaps. She currently leads research projects and policy engagement on EU ETS, CORSIA, and solidarity levy. Sola holds a Master of Environmental Management from Yale University.
