GCET27 will take place at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities.

The entrance to the conference is located at Markgrafenstraße 38, 10117 Berlin, Germany on Gendarmenmarkt.

The Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities (formerly the Prussian Academy of Sciences) is located on Gendarmenmarkt in the heart of Berlin. With its interdisciplinary and international association of scientists and around 350 employees, it is the largest non-university research institution with a humanities profile in the Berlin-Brandenburg region.

The building, which is now frequented by scholars from all over the world, was originally built in 1902/03 for the Prussian Maritime Trade Company, later the Prussian State Bank. To mark the academy's 300th anniversary, the historic cashier's hall was converted into a conference and event centre, which was officially opened in 2002.
