Antonia Bähr is a doctoral researcher in the working group Ecosystems in Transition at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK).
Her research contributes to the further development of the Dynamic Global Vegetation Model (DGVM), Lund-Potsdam-Jena managed Land (LPJmL). In particular, she focusses on improving the representation of the Arctic region, including its vegetation, soils and permafrost dynamics. Her work will also investigate the impacts of wildfires on Arctic ecosystems and how these can be represented in the model.
