Dr Shang Wang

I obtained my PhD degree in system science from Beijing Normal University. My research interests are as follows.

• Climate tipping points
• Complex interactions
• Universal laws

My research focuses on the complexity of the Earth system, including climate tipping points, teleconnections and cascades of impacts, and universal laws of climate phenomena and extreme events. Recently, I have been paying more attention to the changes in the Arctic and research on atmospheric rivers.
