Shivani Ehrenfeucht joined PIK in October, 2024, as a postdoctoral researcher working on the ice sheet experiments within the Tipping Point Modelling Intercomparison Project (TIPMIP), which explore the underlying physics of tipping points associated with internal feedbacks within the ice sheet system. Her previous research was focused on interactions between ice dynamics and subglacial hydrology, with a focus on the impacts of evolving subglacial hydrology on future sea level rise.
