Paula joined the Potsdam Institute in 2026. Prior to this, she was a Research Fellow at Ecologic Institute, specialising in EU climate policy. She further gained professional experience at UNICEF South Asia (Nepal) and the German Energy Agency (dena). She holds a dual Master's degree in Environmental Policy from Sciences Po Paris and Political Science from Freie Universität Berlin. For her Bachelor's, she studied Communication Science and International Relations at the University of Erfurt and the University of Texas at Austin.
