Ruben Prütz is a Postdoctoral Researcher at PIK. His research is focused on co-benefits, limits, and uncertainties of large-scale carbon dioxide removal, primarily in the context of deep mitigation pathways. He applies various interdisciplinary research methods including mitigation scenario assessments, spatial analyses, machine learning, and syntheses of literature evidence. Relevant topics currently include climate overshoot, biodiversity conservation, integrated assessment modelling, land use change, and sustainable development.
