Nicole holds a PhD in meteorology from the National Institute for Space Research (INPE) in Brazil, where she could contribute to geophysical numerical modeling on different scales. She recently joined the Tipping Points Model Intercomparison Project (TIPMIP) at PIK and will coordinate the activities around tipping points in the ocean domain, such as the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC). This position includes the development and analysis of the domain’s integrations and enabling the central communication between the institutions for the model intercomparison achievements.
