Doctoral Researcher
Priesner

Jamir Priesner is a doctoral researcher in the Ecosystems in Transition group at PIK and the Earth System Modelling group at TUM. His research focuses on modelling droughts and their impacts on ecosystems, as well as optimizing dynamic vegetation modelling through clustering and machine learning approaches.
He is also working on the WaldSpektrum project, which aims to identify tree species compositions and forest management strategies that enhance forest resilience, ecosystem services, and timber yield under climate change while supporting biodiversity and conservation goals.
