David Hansmann is a team assistant of the Research Department 2 "Climate Resilience". He is the main contact for doctoral researchers and responsible for personnel processes, controlling of time sheets, organizing internal and external events, the project database and supervision agreements.

He also supports Prof. Sabine Gabrysch with administrative issues.

David Hansmann previously was the coordinator of the International Research Training Group: Dynamical Phenomena in Complex Networks: Fundamentals and Applications (IRTG 1740) and manager of the Collaborative Research Centre: Complex Nonlinear Processes (CRC 555) at the Humboldt-Unversität zu Berlin.

He studied economics at the European University Viadrina.
