Eliot Jackson is a Scientist in the Climate Change and Health working group as part of Research Department 2 at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK). Eliot completed her Masters degree in Conservation Ecology at the University of Michigan School of Environment and Sustainability where she focused on Urban Ecology and Agroecology. Her thesis explored the distribution and diversity of ants in urban landscapes in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Eliot's experience in food systems ranges from research on cover crops to the management of a local farm distribution hub. Her research interests include sustainable food systems, agroecology, urban ecology, urban agriculture, citizen science, experiential learning, and food sovereignty.
