Background
My name is Delwar Hossain, and I joined the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) in March 2025 as an IT specialist. Originally from Bangladesh, I hold both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Computer Science. In 2021, I moved to Germany to pursue a second master’s in Cognitive Systems at the University of Potsdam, with a focus on natural language processing and machine learning.
At PIK, my role involves solving a variety of technical challenges, ranging from scripting and identity management to desktop support and data analysis, as well as implementing new technologies that support our institute’s mission. I’m passionate about continuous learning and enjoy creating technical videos in my spare time. I look forward to connecting with and contributing to the team with my skills and enthusiasm.
