Nubius Brandner

Doctoral Researcher
Brandner

I am a doctoral researcher in the Infrastructure and Complex Networks group (Research Department 4). My research focuses on modelling complex network phenomena in future renewable power grids. I aim to understand grid resilience amid increasing electricity demand and rising extreme-weather risks. To this end, I study energy-system stability from a complex network science and nonlinear dynamics perspective.

My supervisors are Prof. Dr. Sabine Klapp, head of the Collaborative Research Center on the Control of Self-organizing Nonlinear Systems, Dr. Frank Hellmann, head of the Infrastructure and Complex Networks group and Dr. Philipp Blechinger, head of the Reiner Lemoine PhD group.

I am affiliated with the Reiner Lemoine PhD group and TU Berlin.
