Biodiversity Research Survey

Leibniz Biodiversity Identifies Priority Research Needs for Biodiversity Conservation through 2025
Biodiversity Research Survey

Through its Biodiversity Hub initiative, Leibniz Biodiversity carried out a comprehensive survey in early 2023 to identify critical gaps in biodiversity research. This assessment revealed three priority areas essential for biodiversity conservation and human wellbeing. Currently, expert teams are developing synthesis papers on two key themes: "Biodiversity for Resilient Agricultural Systems" and "Hidden Biodiversity." These important publications are scheduled for release in early 2025, offering valuable insights to guide future conservation efforts.
