Climate solutions going viral: investigation of factors for successful communication about climate technologies

Technological solutions to climate change are a major part of climate debates on social
media. But which factors explain user’s engagement with solutions? The aim of this project
is to identify topics and language features that predict success in information spreading on
climate technologies, drawing on statistical methods that have been used to show that more
negative messaging increases engagement and that misinformation spreads more widely on
social media.
