Friederike Röder leads the Secretariat of the Global Solidarity Levies Task Force (GSLTF), playing a key role in advancing international efforts to mobilize additional funding for climate action and sustainable development. She was instrumental in the launch of the first coalition of the willing on solidarity levies—the Premium Flyers Coalition—in June 2025 in Seville. Friederike also leads the International Finance work at the European Climate Foundation (ECF) and co-hosts the secretariat of the Green Guarantee Group (GGG).
With over 20 years of experience in development cooperation, climate finance, and governance, Friederike Röder brings a deep understanding of both public policy and civil society advocacy. Prior to joining the Task Force, she held senior leadership positions at Global Citizen and the ONE Campaign. Her career has also included work with the African Union, the German government, the OECD, and the Arab Reform Initiative.
