Felix Schreyer

Doctoral Researcher
Schreyer

Felix Schreyer is a doctoral researcher at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) in the working group of energy system transformations. His research focuses on energy transition scenarios for Germany and the EU where he investigates, in particular, the role of hydrogen and synthetic fuels for deep decarbonization.

Felix studied Physics of the Earth System and Philosophy at the University of Kiel. He holds a Master's degree in climate science from the University of Hamburg. Before coming to PIK, he did research on the formulation of climate targets under uncertainty at the University of Hamburg and worked on climate change impacts on agriculture at the International Center of Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) in Cali, Colombia.
