Lucas Kluge is a Doctoral researcher in the group "Impacts of climate change on human population dynamics" in Research Department 3. His PhD project is titled "Heterogeneity and scale interactions in human migration and displacement" and supervised by Prof. Levermann and  Dr. Jacob Schewe 

Prior to his position at PIK he worked on complex networks, quantum networks and the numerical simulation of quantum dot lasers. Besides his studies at the Technical University Berlin, he was a visiting scholar at Duke University and University of Crete.
