Xiaoxi is a guest researcher at the working group of  Land Use and Resilience. He is currently a Junior Professor (tenure-tracked), at Department of Agricultural Economics and Management, Zhejiang University, a member of the C9 League.  He works on  MAgPIE (Model of Agricultural Production and its Impact on the Environment) to analyze various topics related to climate adaptation and mitigation from a food-system perspective. From November 2021, he serves as Affiliated Editor at World Development that ranks 30/376 in Economics journals.
