Tobias Seydewitz (m), a skilled forester and arborist, studied Bioinformatics (B.Sc.) and Forestinformationtechnology (M.Sc.). He works for more than a year at PIK following his internship as a scientist for research software development and climate change topics, namely in backend development, climate hazard modeling, evaluating hazard impacts on the agriculture and forestry sector, and assessing deforestation impacts. His expertise is data and software project management, climate and biomass production data analysis, and spatial analysis of forest ecosystems through remote sensing. Since his employment at PIK, he worked for the projects Bioclimapaths, EUCalc, and SUSA.
