Elmar Kriegler´s Homepage

Dr. Elmar Kriegler is a senior scientist at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK). His research focuses on the integrated assessment of climate change, in particular on technological and climate risks of policies to mitigate climate change. In 2006 Elmar Kriegler was awarded a Marie Curie International Outgoing Fellowship by the EU for a two year research visit at the Department of Engineering and Public Policy, at Carnegie Mellon University. Since 2009 Elmar Kriegler coordinates the integrated assessment modeling activities of Research Domain III "Sustainable Solutions" at PIK. Elmar Kriegler received a diploma (MS equivalent) degree in physics from the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg, Germany, in 1998, and a PhD degree in physics from the University of Potsdam, Germany, in 2005. |
