Energy and climate policy are existential in view of the war in Ukraine and the accompanying energy crisis. During the Energy Days, from May 2 to 6, this debate will be illuminated in many ways. In more than 100 events, top representatives of all relevant federal ministries as well as from associations, science and practice will discuss and inform.

At the beginning of the new legislative period and under the impression of international conflicts, the event for energy transition and climate protection will discuss current political course settings, technical innovations and practical aspects. This with the aim of bringing the energy turnaround into a very rapid implementation together with all relevant actors in a constructive and solution-oriented manner.

At the opening on May 2, PIK researcher Stefan Rahmstorf will speak on "Climate crisis: where will we be in 2022 and how much leeway do we still have?"

The Energy Day events take place either online (usually via Zoom) or on-site (in Berlin). More details on the program and registration: https://www.energietage.de/english-1.html
