The new lecture series at TU Berlin (April 26 to May 31, 2022) is aimed at the general public and addresses current socially relevant issues. This semester, the (energy) economic transformation process in the context of the global climate crisis will be examined from different perspectives. In this context, the discourse with civil society is sought, so that the possibility is offered to enter into an exchange with the lecturers through questions and comments after each lecture.

On 17.05.2022, 17:30 to 19:00, PIK researcher Kati Krähnert will talk about the topic of climate crisis and economic damages and in particular about index-based weather insurance in the global south using the example of Mongolia. This contribution is part of an online lecture evening from the TU Berlin lecture series and will take place online. Participation is free of charge and without registration.
