On the one hand, global agriculture is a main producer of greenhouse gas emissions, on the other hand, global food security is one of the most vulnerable aspects concerning climate change. The Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research and the Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Transition Economies together organize this year's IAMO Forum to provide a platform to present and discuss research and solution approaches concerning this topic. Among others, PIK-director Hans Joachim Schellnhuber and PIK-scientist Hermann Lotze-Campen will participate in the event.
