Yunfei Li is a PhD student of Urban Transformations group at Potsdam Institute for
Climate Impact Research (PIK). He has a background in geographic information system and water information technology. Now he is working in the field of urban climate and his main interests are the impacts of urbanization on urban climate. Through numerical modelling and remote sensing, he tries to explore the interaction between the urban heat island effect and urbanization under the background of climate change.
