Stephen Wirth

Doctoral researcher
Wirth

As a geoecologist, I am interested in natural environmental systems and human impact on those. Working in the Land use modeling group, I research grassland ecosystems using LPJmL. Currently, I work on acquiring and analyzing data from grassland experiments to model functional diversity in managed grasslands. Additional general research interests of me are ecosystem functioning, animal-plant interactions in pastures, biodiversity, functional ecology, and trait-based modeling.
