Felix Schreyer is a PhD student at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research. His research focuses on regional energy transition pathways (EU, Germany, Australia) and the role of hydrogen and synthetic fuels for reaching deep decarbonization.

Felix studied Physics of the Earth System and Philosophy at the University of Kiel and holds a MSc in Interdisciplinary Climate Science from Hamburg University. Before coming to PIK, he worked with the Research Unit on Sustainability and Global Change at the University of Hamburg and was a guest researcher at the International Center of Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) in Cali, Colombia.
