Sandra Zimmermann

Doctoral Researcher

Sandra Zimmermann is a Doctoral Researcher in the Working Group "Impacts of climate change on human population dynamics" in  RD3.  Her research evolves around disaster-induced displacement and is supervised by Dr. Jacob Schewe and Dr. Katja Frieler.

Prior to her PhD, Sandra wrote her Master thesis on the effects of extreme events on conflict predictions in Africa at PIK.

Sandra holds a B.Sc. in Environmental Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, an M.Sc. in Global Change Ecology as well as a university law exam in Environmental Law from the University of Bayreuth
