Dr. Diego Rybski

Senior Scientist
At PIK I research cities in the climate change context. This includes (i) urban carbon emissions and how cities can contribute to mitigating climate change, (ii) climate impacts in cities and how cities can adapt to unavoidable climate change, (iii) urban climate and the heat island effect, and (iv) cities as complex systems. I am the deputy head of the Urban Transformations group.
