Keno Riechers holds a masters degree in Physics from the University of Hamburg. After working in climate policy consultancy he returned to science and now investigates past abrupt climatic shifts evident in paleo climate records with a special focus on uncertainty propagation. His work is part of the project 'Tipping Points in the Earth System' (TIPES) and is focused past tipping events evidenced in climate proxy records.
