Lavinia Baumstark ist Diplom Mathematikerin ( Universität Potsdam) und promovierte in Wirtschaftswissenschaften an der TU Berlin. Ihre Doktorarbeit beschäftigt sich mit endogenem Wachstum, Forschungs- und Entwicklungsausgaben und technologischem Spillover.


Momentan arbeitet sie an der Modellentwicklung und Effizienzsteigerung von großskaligen Modellen des Forschungsbereichs (z.B. ReMIND).
