Jiarui Zhong

Postdoctoral Researcher

Jiarui holds a bachelor's degree in German studies from the University of International and Business (UIBE) and a master's degree in Empiric Economics and Policy Advisory from Martin-Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. She later pursued a PhD in Economics from the same university, with a focus on analysing the competitiveness impact of climate policy.

She joined PIK as postdoctoral researcher since march 2023. Her research at PIK focuses on presenting inequality and distributional impacts of climate change and climate policies in Integrated Assessment Model.

Jiarui received her bachelor's degree in German studies in 2015 from the University of International and Business (UIBE) and her master's degree in Empiric Economics and Policy Advisory in 2018 from Martin-Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (LMU). She later pursued a PhD in Economics at LMU from 2019 to 2023, with a focus on analyzing the competitiveness impact of climate policy.
