Dr. Ramana Gudipudi is an urban planner by profession with more than ten years of combined experience in research, planning and implementing sustainable urban infrastructure projects with a focus on climate change. He is a qualified project manager having dealt with the acquisition (>15 Million Euros) and implementation of a wide array of research and infrastructure projects collaborating with clients from public institutions, academia and private companies. He has specialist knowledge on lifecycle assessments, improving energy/resource efficiency and identifying/evaluating adaptation strategies to improve resilience. He is an experienced data analyst with expertise in R statistical software, Geographic Information Systems and various software programs. Prior to joining PIK, Dr. Gudipudi worked as an Advisor at the German International Cooperation (GIZ) - Germany's leading public enterprise in the field of international development cooperation and sustainable development where he supported the Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India in mainstreaming funding, planning and implementing climate-proofed large scale urban infrastructure projects in 6 Indian cities.
