Nitin Babu George

Doctoral researcher

Nitin Babu George is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin on the topic Nonlinear processes in spatially distributed systems with applications in climate and technology. Nitin works at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research under the purview of the project EPICC (East Africa Peru India Climate Capacities). In this project, he works on monsoon dynamics, its timing and variability.  He has substantial research experience in the study of spatiotemporal systems on the verge of critical transitions. Nitin has a Master’s degree in Fluid Dynamics and a degree in Chemical Engineering.
