Anton (he/him) is a doctoral researcher at the Climate and Energy Policies (CAEP) group led by Dr. Michael Pahle. His research focuses on examining the determinants of public support for ambitious climate policies, such as carbon pricing. In his work, he employs a methodological approach rooted in economic theory and causal inference.

Before commencing his PhD at PIK, Anton worked as an economic analyst at Frontier Economics. He holds Master's degree in Economics from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Maastricht University. During his studies, Anton worked as a Research Assistant at the Fraser of Allander Institute in Scotland. His practical experience includes internships at the ifo Institute and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
