Christopher Leisinger works as Research Analyst and Policy Advisor to Ottmar Edenhofer in the institute's directors' team with a focus on Europe and EU climate policy since 2022.

Prior to joining the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, he worked as a Research Fellow at Forum Ökologisch-Soziale Marktwirtschaft and collected professional experiences at the European Commission (DG CLIMA), the ifo Institute for Economic Research and as Research Assistant at the Chair of Public Economics at Technische Universität Dresden. Christopher studied Economics at Technische Universität Dresden and the Norwegian School of Economics.
