Sea Level projections for ANTarctica

The project SLANT informs the fifth assessment report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change on the dynamic sea level contribution from Antarctica. To this end the Parallel Ice Sheet Model (PISM), co-developed by the University of Alaska, Fairbanks and PIK, is forced with high-resolution atmosphere and ocean boundary conditions provided by the University of Brussels, Belgum and Alfred-Wegner Institute, Bremerhaven, Germany, respectively.
