Dr. Finn Müller-Hansen

Müller-Hansen

I am a post-doctoral researcher at Mercator Research Institute on Global Commons and Climate Change (MCC) and guest scientist at Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK). At MCC, I apply methods from natural language processing and network analysis to the scientific literature and public discourses about energy transitions and climate policy.

During my PhD at PIK, I developed modeling approaches to describe human-nature interactions focusing mostly on land-use change in the Brazilian Amazon as part of the International Research Training Group (IRTG 1740) "Dynamical Phenomena in Complex Networks", the Ecosystem Stability and Transitions (Ecostab) group, and the Copan project.
