25-26/01/2022 - AgMIP GlobEcon team is organising a meeting on the progress of their joint actvities and ideas for future collaboration. The meeting will touch upon technical advancements, ongoing activities and (future) publications.
AgMIP Global Economics Online Workshop

The workshop will be co-hosted online by  Prof.Dr Hermann Lotze-Campen and will feature input from a wide range of international scientists and will leave spark discussion on ideas for future joint research around the groups main topics "future socio-economic baseline projections (based on the Shared Socio-economic Pathways, SSP), climate impacts on the agriculture and food sector, effects of ambitious climate change mitigation, and projections of dietary change and land use change."

The AgMIP (Agricultural Model Intercomparison and Improvement Project) is a joint effort with a mission to "significantly improve agricultural models, and scientific and technological capabilities, for assessing impacts of climate variability and change and other driving forces on agriculture, food security, and poverty at local to global scales."
