Malware Protection - Antivirus

Malware protection is mandatory for PIK standard computers. Malware is all data and code which is generically malicious - such as computer viruses and network worms, scareware, ransomware and all types of unsolicited manipulation of systems and data. In a broader sense, even the abuse of computer systems for tricking users into actions that will bring damage to them or others can be a subject of malware protection - examples are phishing attacks and other types of spam. PIK standard computers are equipped with a managed malware protection software, which receives configuration information and updates from the management service and sends reports about suspect incidents via the management service to the responsible experts at the IT department, so the incidents can be evaluated and resolved
