The workshop will be hosted by the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) and the Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering Potsdam-Bornim (ATB) and take place at PIK (maps and public transport options) on the 15-16 of June 2016. Neues Palais

An area with beautiful red brick buildings in the Dutch style: unplastered, with white seams, shuttered windows, and sometimes, sweeping gables. This ensemble of buildings is unique in Europe.
Schloss Cecilienhof
The palace’s appearance was attuned to the natural surroundings through the use of traditional materials such as brick and wood. It is famous for having been the location of the Potsdam Conference in 1945, in which the leaders of the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom and the United States took important decisions affecting the shape of post WWII.
Nikolaikirche
A classicist style church in the heart of the city that was dedicated to Saint Nicholas. The building was badly damaged during WWII but restored into it´s original state in the following years. Today the church dome towers above the city and it´s possible to enjoy the panoramic view from one of the towers.
