Areas of scientific interest: hydrological and eco-hydrological modelling; water quality modelling; climate change impact assessment for river discharge, hydrological extremes and crop yield; evaluation of climate impact uncertainties; land use change impacts on hydrological processes in river basins; intercomparison of hydrological impact models; evaluation of hydrological model performance.

I coordinate, together with Fred Hattermann, Water-Regional sector in the Inter-Sectoral Impact Model Intercomparison Project (ISIMIP)
