Dr Willem Huiskamp

Postdoctoral Researcher

My research interests include oceanography and its role in paleoclimate change events, the role of the marine carbon cycle in past climate change and the way we reconstruct past climates. I am also interested in the Southern Annular Mode and its role in determining air-sea carbon exchange and modulating regional climate in the Southern Hemisphere. Currently I am working in the Planetary Guardians project, continuing the development of our new earth system model, POEM.
