M.Sc. Anton Plietzsch


I am a doctoral researcher in the 'Infrastructure and Complex Networks' group at PIK. My research focus is to analyze the impact of renewable fluctuations and extreme weather events on the stability and resilience of power grids using methods from different research fields such as dynamical systems, complex networks, stochastic processes, time series analysis, control theory and machine learning.

Also I am part of the workshop collective clisciety that aims for a constructive exchange between science and society. We develop educational workshops and talks on climate change, the energy transition and their impact on society.
